Despite her young age, Marleen Veltman (25) is a seasoned professional in the cleaning industry. After working for several “big players,” Marleen has truly found her niche at 12B Clean. It’s a perfect match for both sides. That’s why Marleen was able to quickly advance her career as a forewoman within the organization and now oversees the facilities services with a close-knit team of colleagues.
My Story
Our customers appreciate punctual service
As a result, Marleen has a 50/50 job, with part of her time devoted to office work. Marleen: “Of course, everything has to be planned and executed down to the last detail. Our clients appreciate punctual service. A vacation home must be 100% clean for the next guests. There’s no wiggle room. But that’s also the challenge. And believe me—we do that very well.” The other half of the time, Marleen can be found at the work sites. Sometimes very early or quite late—whenever it’s most convenient for the client. Marleen and her team adapt. “Part of the job.” And—according to Marleen—also one of the most special aspects of the work.
Understanding of everyone's personal circumstances
Marleen is committed to her job, but also to her family and her six-month-old son. According to Marleen, it’s all easy to balance—the rules at 12B Clean are clear and flexible. People understand and show consideration for everyone’s personal circumstances. Marleen: “That’s what makes working for 12B Clean so great. Wait… it’s not working for, but working with 12B Clean. With 180 colleagues who treat each other like people, and don’t treat you—like at previous employers—as just a number. You can feel that bond in the work ethic. It runs like clockwork!”
