How does the 12B Clean professional handle bird droppings?
Of course, never with your hands. To avoid getting sick from the bacteria, viruses, parasites, or fungi in the droppings—and to prevent spreading them—we follow a series of steps to clear the area of bird droppings.
- If the bird droppings are indoors, we cover the area thoroughly to ensure that dust from the removed droppings does not spread. We spray the area to prevent any airborne particles. We wet the area with an industrial cleaning solution mixed with water. We let it soak in for a while. Then we first remove as much droppings as possible by hand and dispose of it in sturdy plastic bags.
- With another method, we use a broom to scrub the area by hand. This allows us to reach all the cracks and crevices in buildings and sidewalks. We then rinse the area with water.
- Only now do we bring out our pressure washer. We use it to rinse the area.
- To ensure that mold, bacteria, and viruses don't stand a chance, we spray the area again with a bleach solution. We let it dry. Once the area is completely dry, you can safely return to it.
