All the care and attention is usually focused on the plants themselves and on concealing the activity—not on how the electrical wiring is set up or how chemicals are handled. How do we work?
To ensure that we can work safely, we follow a number of steps:
- We check the electrical system. In some cases, we can work in daylight. Otherwise, we provide lighting using a grounded outlet or a generator. We also measure air quality and assess the chemicals present.
- We dismantle and disassemble all cabinets and used equipment, electrical systems, lighting, exhaust systems, and carbon filters.
- Clearing out and sorting all items that do not belong on the premises: chemicals, soil, plastic, pots, and trash.
- Cleaning and deodorizing all surfaces in the room, including walls, ceilings, and floors. We pay close attention to areas with moisture and mold. By addressing these immediately and thoroughly, we can prevent further damage.
- Finally, the space must be ventilated. If necessary, we will carry out repairs, such as sealing holes, so that the space is once again accessible and/or habitable.
