12B Clean
At 12B Clean, we don’t shy away from anything—and I mean absolutely anything—when it comes to cleaning. Our three divisions are staffed by intelligent and highly trained people who know exactly what is expected of them.
Professor at 12B Clean
Annette Stok has been working in the cleaning industry for a very long time. There’s nothing she hasn’t experienced. Annette has been with 12B Clean for two years now. “A great job,” she says. “Especially because there are quite a few new challenges on the horizon.” Annette has really found her niche in the most demanding cleaning work—both physically and mentally. You have to be able to handle that, and you definitely can’t let your emotions get the best of you.
Annette stands guard while her colleagues climb down into the filthiest oil tanks through narrow “manholes” to perform cleaning tasks. With assignments like these, you have to be able to rely on each other completely. One mistake could cost a life. Yet those aren’t even the toughest conditions. Annette is also a “Prof” at 12BClean. As one of the Profs, her duties include dealing with the discovery of bodies and cleaning and disinfecting crime scenes after a murder or suicide. Annette: “That’s where you really get confronted with the raw side of life. Young people who take their own lives, or elderly people who pass away and aren’t found until months later.”
Annette is up to the task in situations like this. Down-to-earth as she is, she believes someone simply has to do this work. Annette: “Just imagine what a situation like that does to the family. Or the neighbors, the acquaintances… We’re trained for this and leave the site completely clean and odor-free. As if nothing had happened. We remove everything that reminds people of the tragedy and hand over personal belongings to the bereaved. We have special suits, gloves, boots, and compressed-air masks to mask the smell of the body. Don’t worry about me. I do it with love.”
No cleaning job is too crazy for us!
