If your basement has flooded, we’ll come to your home as soon as possible. If you haven’t called for help, or if help is still on the way, it’s a good idea to start taking action yourself (where possible). Here’s what to do:
- Make sure you stay safe
- Make sure you've turned off the power
- Remove as many belongings and pieces of furniture as possible from the flooded area.
- Try to remove as much water as possible yourself using a bucket or a pump
- Dry the walls
- Clean the walls
