We don’t shy away from any job—that’s what we’re known for. But this job was next level—or rather, these rats were next level. Several pest control companies had turned down the job after seeing the devastation and the rats. Not us.
The rats in this crawl space were huge—they looked just like little piglets. And that’s exactly how they behaved. Because of them, there was hardly any insulation left in the crawl space. There were rat nests everywhere. The smell of urine was overwhelming (just ask the neighbors).
In the end, we won the fierce battle against the rats. We then removed the nesting sites and rat nests, as well as the gnawed insulation material. To permanently eliminate the odor, we performed an ozone air treatment. To ensure these uninvited guests don’t return, we installed barriers in the crawl space. The customer is happy, we’re happy, and we feel sorry for the rats.
